Triangle Leftovers

Some of the best sewing tips we get are from our friends. Whenever you have leftover triangles from a quilt project, put them in a safe spot near your sewing machine. Each time you sit down to do more piecing at your sewing machine, grab two triangles the same size, sew them together, then feed the first pieces from your new-

project in. As you are approaching the end of your piecing, grab two more same sized triangles and end your piecing by sewing them together as well. Over time you will have collected enough of these half-square triangle blocks to do another project without any effort. Thanks to my friend, Mary, for this sewing tip!
