Make a Quilters Journal. Purchase an inexpensive binder with a clear sleeve on the front. Insert a favorite picture (a quilt, your family, a dream destination, favorite actor, etc...) in the sleeve and purchase several pages with pockets or page protectors. Use these pages to insert-

small scraps of fabric from your quilt, a picture of the quilt (preferably with the recipient, even if it's for yourself), an index card with information about the pattern and designer, reason for making the quilt, the date, your name and address. Not only will it be fun to look at and reference, but future generations are sure to appreciate the information and love looking at the pictures.

'Reverse sewing' is a cute politically correct term for people who can't handle the fact that they made a mistake stitching!
