Another useful sewing tip. Purchase small safety pins and use them for marking rows or blocks when working on a quilt or sewing project. Take a 2 inch piece of masking tape and mark the number, or piece, onto the tape, then wrap it around one side of the pin, creating a 'tag'. Do this with-

several pins to suit your purposes. Every time you finish a row, pin the appropriate number on the left end of the row and you'll always know what order to sew them together, if even if they get mixed up. Store the pins in a clear jar near your sewing machine, where they're handy.



Once I took my mother out to eat. She ordered a hamburger with cheese. The waitress kept telling her it was a cheeseburger. Somehow, I think my mother had a point!
