Cell Phone extrav- aganza! We live in a wonderful world of gadgetry. It has never been easier to communicate with family, friends and business associates. We have Blackberry vs iphone, instant messaging, Video, pictures, GPS and internet plus a good handful of other ingenious perks and all at a very reasonable price, If you are over forty you can certainly remember the high tech days some decades ago.

day when it needed to be specified that the computer contained a hard drive, has less than a half meg of memory and a enormous 10 megabyte HD.  It had a green monochrome monitor that could goes as high as 640 x 800 resolution, and it only cost $1600.00 plus shipping and handling.  And this, of course was before the advent of the internet AND cell phones.

       Think of the advances since.  A single Blackberry contains more speed, power, memory and storage space, can go online and give directions, take pictures and video, then send it all to the lucky recipients, which is often the world thanks to YouTube and the like.

And all for about a tenth the price.  A single 8 gig micro memory chip which sells for under 20 bucks and holds 800 times the information that my first HD computers drive did, not to mention the fact that files are typically compressed better as well.

       As always we live in an extraordinary time of opportunity with simple inexpensive luxuries like the iPhone and the Blackberry, so it comes down to things as simple as the iPhone vs Blackberry or blackberry vs iphone, which really comes down to personal needs, user interface preferences, and to a small extent cost for some. All in all, it is a win win situation.  Whether you choose iphone, Blackberry or another similar product, you are getting far more for you money than you can begin to imagine.
