Tablecloth Makeovers

Not sure what to do with tablecloths that are worn or have stains in them? Take the useable fabric and create napkins, placemats or potholders with them, just finish the edges, bind or stitch two right sides together (leaving and opening), turn inside out and stitch shut.

You can add more interest to these items by adding embellishments such as rick rack or ribbon, embroidering a fun or pretty design on them, applying appliques or maybe even over-dyeing light colored fabrics with fabric dye.
